The Hello Blossoms’s team recently flew to Hadspen in Tasmania for the wedding flowers of Larissa and Mahala.
The beautiful Larissa wore a stunning one shoulder soft, feminine ivory gown. The wedding was set in the picturesque Tamar Valley country-side, so Larissa wanted to keep the floral theme soft, relaxed and natural.
Larissa wanted a soft, textured bouquet which used white tones to reflect her gown and a touch of pink to reflect her sister’s gown. We wanted to reflect the soft feathery design of the flowers on Larissa’s gown, through floral choice. We chose open bloom roses, double tulips, snapdragons, lisianthus and hyacinth.
Larissa and her sister Sophie each wore fresh lisianthus blooms in their hair.
Larissa’s sister Sophie was her bridesmaid and wore a beautiful pink gown which we used as inspiration in designing her bouquet.
We designed large jug arrangements for the church which we then then moved to the reception and garden area afterwards.
The reception was held at The Red Feather Inn, Hadspen. We hung groups of pink, white and lilac florals and poker dot lanterns from the trees around the garden reception area.
Larissa and Mahala had their wedding cake made by the local CWA (Country Women’s Association) in Launceston, which is a really lovely and unique alternative to a traditional wedding cake. Hello Blossoms designed the cake flowers to reflect the floral theme.
Congratulations to the beautiful Larissa and Mahala!!!
