The gorgeous Alex and Simon were recently married on the Mornington Peninsula in front of an intimate number of family and friends.
Alex and her bridesmaids got dressed at her parents beautiful beach house in Portsea. The amazing photography is provided by the very talented Sayher Heffernan.
Alex wore a stunning one shoulder ivory gown which featured a beautiful flower detail across the front. We designed her bouquet to feature florals which picked up on this flower detail in the gown which featured ivory, soft pink, apricot and sage green tones.
The bridal bouquet featured apricot roses, soft pink roses, cream lisianthus and sage green foliage with a touch of mid pink roses reflected the bridesmaids gowns. The bouquets also featured green succulents which was a common theme throughout the whole wedding.
As with all our brides, we showed Alex and her bridesmaid’s how to hold their bouquets while walking down the aisle, and pinned on the buttonholes and corsages for her mother and father.
The bridesmaids wore gorgeous hot pink gowns. Their bouquets featured apricot and pink roses, cream lisianthus, green succulents and hot pink lisianthus blooms to reflect their gowns.
Alex and Simon were married at St Thomas’s church is Portsea, a beautiful quaint old timber church in the heart of Portsea, on the Mornington Peninsula.
Simon’s buttonhole featured an apricot rose with petite green succulents, a touch of sage green foliage and finished with black satin ribbon to match the suits.
Alex and Simon celebrated their beautiful wedding with an Italian style luncheon at the Sorrento Sailing Club, in Sorrento, which featured 2 long banquet style tables with share platters.
We carried the apricot, pink and green tones from the bridal bouquets, through to the reception designs which featured roses from the bridal theme, lime green molucca balm and petite glass votives of succulents.
As the luncheon wedding finished, guests were then transported to Alex’s family beach house for an after party. The guests filled their arms with florals from the reception to take home and to the after party! As with all our weddings all the florals are to keep for you and all of your guests.
